Several common printing processes in the packaging printing process:
1. Film covering: also known as "over plastic", "lamination", "film pasting", etc. Film covering is a transparent plastic film applied to the surface of printed materials through hot pressing to protect and increase luster. At the same time, the color of the images and text is more vivid, and it also plays a waterproof and anti fouling role. It can be divided into two parts: surface processing and molding processing for hot stamping. Lamination has been widely used for surface decoration and protection of book covers, picture albums, commemorative books, postcards, product manuals, calendars, and maps.
2. Hot stamping, silver stamping: Hot stamping is a common printing decoration process, also known as "hot stamping". Its production principle is to heat the metal printing plate, apply foil, and press gold text or patterns onto the printed product. Hot stamping with silver is similar to hot stamping with gold, but the materials used are different. Hot stamping will present a golden luster, while hot stamping with silver will present a silver luster. The characteristics of hot stamping and silver stamping: clear and beautiful patterns, bright and eye-catching colors, often used for logo printing.
3. UV spray printing: It is a printing process that uses ultraviolet light to dry and solidify ink, and is one of the most important printing processes in the printing industry. Its characteristics: it can increase the glossiness and artistic effect of the product, and better highlight the subtle levels and contours of the graphic and textual parts.
4. Convex embossing: Using a convex template (male template) to press and print the surface of the printed product into a three-dimensional relief pattern (locally raised in the printed product, giving it a three-dimensional effect and causing visual impact) is called protrusion; Pressing concave is achieved through the use of concave templates (negative templates) through pressure. Its characteristic is that it has a clear sense of relief, which can increase the three-dimensional and artistic appeal of the printed matter.
